Special Contribution Award
Congratulations to Dr Ram Vaidhyanath who was awarded the our first BSHNI Special Contribution Award in recognition of his outstanding services to BSHNI. Ram’s notable contribution is setting up and running the webinar series throughout the pandemic and post-pandemic period last year and also setting up our brand new website. He also introduced the electronic poster (e-poster) concept at our recent meetings in his training advisor role.
Dr Jagrit Shah from Nottingham was awarded the our second BSHNI Special Contribution Award in 2024 , in recognition of his outstanding services to BSHNI. He has served in the committee for more than 10 years and is the longest serving President on record . As president during the pandemic, he steered the committee to provide our first series of educational webinars for continuing medical education. He was also instrumental in establishing BSHNI as a charity incorporated organisation (CIO) in 2021.
