BSHNI is an inclusive Society and membership is open to all individuals of good standing who have an interest in Head and Neck Imaging.

Membership benefits
All members are entitled to reduced rates for BSHNI meetings, invited to attend the AGM, to have access to the minutes of the Society meetings, reports and publications produced by the Society (via the BSHNI website) and have access to Membership area of the BSHNI website.
Membership Fee
(non-refundable)The membership fee is a single payment for an indefinite period. This may be reviewed in the future depending on the needs of the society.

Membership & Entitlements
Full Membership
Consultant Radiologists and post FRCR (or equivalent) trainees who have an active interest in Head and Neck Imaging and practising in the UK. Full members entitlements include voting rights and to have the opportunity to be an elected member of the BSHNI Council and/or Sub-Committees.
Associate Membership
Members who do not meet the criteria for full membership. This includes trainee Radiologists or Radiologists in practice abroad and Non-Radiologists e.g., Consultant ENT, Dental and Maxillofacial surgeons, physicians and trainees.
Allied Health Practitioners who practice and contribute to Head and Neck Imaging e.g., Radiographers, Sonographers, Physicists, Associate members do not have voting rights and are unable to stand for council election but may be invited to join sub-committees (the only exception is for UK based associate members who are post-FRCR2a trainees applying for trainee representative post)

If your membership type has changed since your initial membership application, please contact us with your GMC/GDC number (UK based post-FRCR trainees please also email your FRCR certificate as proof for full membership application from your NHS email account).

ESNHR membership
The BSHNI has reciprocal arrangement with ESHNR which offers reduced membership fee. Other benefits include representation of Head and Neck Imaging at an international level, opportunity to apply for ESOR Fellowship and visiting scholarship programmes and the ability to sit the European Board Diploma in Head and Neck Radiology
